Cadiz, as a port city, is easily accessible by ferry.
Traveling to Cadiz via ferry is a worthwhile experience, as it gives you the chance to see the city from the point of view of the sea and also great views of the coastline. The ferries to Cadiz service the routes to and from the mainland Spain and other selected Spanish islands. The ferries operate to and from Santa Cruz de la Palma, Las Palmas and Arrecife, all run once a week. Meanwhile, the Vapor del Puerto, takes you to El Puerto de Santa Maria in an hour.
